Since founding Head to Speech in 2021, I have reimagined what a private practice should look like for those who transform lives. By incorporating social impact provides far greater benefits to the professional, those with whom they work with and their support systems. In 2024, I founded the Academy of Certified Sports Speech-Language Pathologists™, a certification program that applies evidence-based speech-language pathology practice, including both service delivery and professional domains, leadership development, and business and practice management standards to athletics, sports and fitness. The designation Certified Sports SLP™ distinguishes those who work in athletics, sports, and fitness. Our students invest in the experience because it is deeply rooted in social impact branding and achieving social impact within this underserved community by SLPs.
